About Black Squadron Airsoft, LLC.
Find your People, Find Your Purpose. Built for those still fighting.
-Evan Erdmann
Black Squadron Airsoft LLC is a veteran-owned organization founded with a simple belief: people perform better, heal better, and live better when they are part of something that matters.

Established in 2018 and formally restructured as Black Squadron in 2022, the organization was built to deliver disciplined, immersive MILSIM airsoft events while intentionally fostering connection, purpose, and community. What began as a small group of like-minded players has evolved into a professionally run operation that values structure, safety, accountability, and respect—on and off the field.

Black Squadron brings together veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and civilians in a team-based environment that emphasizes communication, trust, and shared responsibility. While the gameplay is challenging and immersive, the deeper value lies in the relationships built and the sense of belonging created through collective effort.

We believe strong organizations listen to the people they serve. Participant feedback is actively encouraged and used to refine operations, improve event flow, and enhance overall experience. Black Squadron continuously evolves by incorporating lessons learned, player input, and proven practices into future operations.

To keep events engaging and accessible to a broad audience, Black Squadron develops multiple narrative-driven storylines designed to capture interest, encourage role immersion, and support varied play styles. Where appropriate, elements inspired by video games—such as objectives, progression mechanics, and scenario-based challenges—are thoughtfully integrated into gameplay to enhance immersion while maintaining realism, safety, and fairness.

We recognize that many participants come to our events seeking more than recreation. For some, this is a constructive outlet. For others, it is a way to reconnect, decompress, or rediscover purpose through teamwork and physical engagement. Black Squadron provides that space—without judgment and without pretense.

Our Story
Black Squadron Airsoft LLC began in 2018 as a small group of players looking for something more than casual weekend games. What started as informal events quickly became a tight-knit community built around shared standards, mutual respect, and a desire for more immersive, structured experiences.

In the early years, the organization operated under a different name and focused primarily on gameplay. Over time, it became clear that what kept people coming back wasn’t just the field or the missions—it was the sense of connection. Players showed up consistently, supported one another, and found value in working toward a common objective as a team.

As the community grew, so did the responsibility to do things the right way. In 2022, the organization formally restructured and became Black Squadron Airsoft LLC. The change reflected a shift toward professionalism, safety, and long-term sustainability, while preserving the culture that made the group strong from the start.

Black Squadron was built by people with real-world leadership experience who understood the importance of discipline, accountability, and clear communication. Those principles now shape every aspect of operations—from planning and safety oversight to gameplay design and post-event feedback.

Today, Black Squadron continues to evolve by listening to its participants and adapting to their needs. Story-driven scenarios, structured objectives, and thoughtfully integrated game mechanics keep events engaging, while strong leadership and clear standards ensure a professional and respectful environment.
At its core, Black Squadron is about people. It exists to bring individuals together, create meaningful shared experiences, and provide a space where participants can show up, contribute, and feel part of something bigger than themselves.
