Rules and Regulations

Find Below Black Squadron Airsoft current Rules and Regulations. These are subject to change at any time, and you will be notified per event/ op. This is currently the general SOP but may change per venue or range control request. Weather conditions may also prohibit use of some pyro. 

Rules of Play

These rules of play apply to all Black squadron Airsoft LLC events. All Participants are required to read, understand, and comply with these rules. Failure to do so may result in penalties or removal from the event. 

 

 

Fire selection Modes

Semi Auto

One Shot,  per trigger Pull

Note: No binary triggers

Full Auto

Continuous firing per trigger pull

Note: must be less than 30 RPS

Bolt Action / Single Action

a bolt or lever must be used to load a single bb

These are the only firing modes allowed

All weapons will be chronographed with a .32 gram BB

and must meet the following requirements

Side Arms

Pistol (Semi Auto)

1.55 joules - Zero foot Engagement distance - Unlimited mid caps

Pistol (Full Auto)

1.00 joules - Zero foot Engagement distance - Unlimited mid cap, ( No Drums)

Note: if in a carbine kit will be considered a SMG​

Rifleman

 

SMG (Full Auto)

1.00 joules - Zero foot Engagement distance - 7 mid cap (No Drums)

Shotguns (Semi Auto)

1.00 joules - Zero foot Engagement distance- 30 Shells

Note: Must use shells (no KSG, Saiga-12 or other mag fed Shotguns)

 

Rifle (Semi Auto)

1.55 joules - Zero foot Engagement distance - 7 midcaps

Support Roles

LMG (Full Auto)

1.88 joules - 50 foot Engagement distance - 2 drums

Note: secondary weapon must be side arm, Primary weapon must not shoot more than 30 RPS

 

DMR (Semi Auto) 

2.1 joules - 75 foot engagement distance- 5 midcaps

Note: Must have: 7.62/308 weapon, Magnified Scope, Bipod, secondary weapon

 

Sniper (Bolt Action / Single Action)

3.6 joules - 100’ - 5 midcaps - Must Have: Magnified scope, Secondary weapon

Alt Roles

Dual Role

If you want to run a sniper and carry a M4 or SMG you are limited to a maximum of 7 mid caps total

(IE: 3 Sniper mags and 4 Rifle Mags)

LMG users can not be dual role and can only carry a pistol as a secondary weapon. 

Knife

If attempting a knife kill, the weapon must be rubber or foam. You are not allowed to throw the knife, You must tap the player for the kill. The player will not call “hit” but quietly pull their dead rag and sit down. 

 

Shields

At this time we do not include shields in our Milsim

Grenades and Pyro

Approved pyro will depend on Op location. Prior to each op we will release which pyro will be accepted at the location. If you are hit from any of the discharge from the pyro you are dead. If you are within 15 feet of a grenade you are dead unless you are behind hard cover. 

 

PPE

ANSI 787.1 rated eye protection that “contours to your face” accepted “Full seal” encouraged.

Dead rag

Users must have a dead rag of Bright Red at least 10”X10” and if playing in low light conditions, a red dead light or red illumination is required.  

 

Medic Rules

Milsim Tourniquets and Ace bandages are acceptable forms of being "medic'd"

When hit, Players may only call out Medic.

Dead men don't talk! 5 Minute bleed out time. Dead players must return to Spawn and touch FOB Flag to be able to respawn back in the game if they bleed out or used maxed medic kits. 

Hit Calling and Player Conduct

Players are expected to immediately and honestly call their hits. Unsportsmanlike conduct, aggressive behavior, or intentional rule violations will not be tolerated. Remember it's just a game, you will have more respect for calling your hit, than not calling it.

 

Age Limits

This will depend on the location. Some locations will allow younger players, some have a minimum age limit. For Each Op we will post the minimum age limit. 

 

Team Factions

We wanted to make this simple and affordable. CSF (Coalition of Sovereign Forces) will consist of all camo patterns excluding solid colors, black camo patterns, gray camo patterns, and white camo patterns. The BMD (Black Market Directorate) will consist of civilian attire, black camo, gray camo, or white camo. Head gear and face mask must match your team colors, this gear  may be solid for CSF team. Admin and photographers will be in bright colored staff shirts or Red. DO NOT shoot the photographers! They are there to take photos of you. We do not want to break their equipment. 

 

Player Searches

The enemy player must be able to touch the dead or captured player and will say “I am searching you.” At that moment Searched player must provide Any Physical Intel they have on their person

 

UAV’s

While we understand that in the real world UAV’s are a real part of war, Due to some of our locations of play we do not allow the use of UAV’s as part of Game play at this time. Some locations, typically private owned facilities we will allow the use of UAV's and will address them for each Op they will be allowed to use them in. 

 

Field Marshal Authority

Field Marshals (Black Squadron Staff and In Game Admin) have final authority on all rulings. Failure to comply with staff instructions may result in penalties or removal. 

​Blind Fire

You must have PID (Positive Identification) and LOS (Line of Sight) on your target. No blind firing is allowed.

Trigger Feathering Binary / Burst

Binary or burst selection are not allowed

Trigger feathering is not allowed.

We are providing a Military style event Not a Speed-soft Tournment.

Real Steal

AT NO TIME shall real steal firearms be allowed on the field.

If you see someone with a real firearm on the field immediately report them to staff.  

Drugs and Alcohol 

Our events are Zero Tolerance locations. Drugs and Alcohol are not allowed at any time.

Safety Violations

Including removal of eye protection, reckless firing, or aggressive conduct, may result in immediate ejection without refund

These rules are subject to modification based on  instillation requirements,

range control directives, and/or safety conditions.

All changes will be briefed prior to game play.
